About
Iveta Harmash
I have been drawn to beauty for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl I noticed how a room was arranged, how a table was set, how a garden was kept — I wanted to understand why some spaces felt right and others didn't. I'm currently a student of landscape architecture, and that early pull toward aesthetics is what led me here.
That curiosity never went away. It turned into a passion, and the passion turned into a profession.
Nature has always been my biggest influence. What I love about it is that there is real structure and function behind all the beauty — nothing is decorative for its own sake. I try to bring that same thinking to my work. Good design should always have a purpose.
Even a wedding should have meaningful design — and that design can be carried right into your home and garden.
How I work
I work across event design, interior design, and landscape design — and I have always seen these as one continuous story rather than three separate disciplines. An event like a wedding is a significant moment in someone's life. It deserves a real aesthetic, designed with intention. And when the celebration is over, that design does not have to disappear.
That is the idea behind StoryFormed: taking what was created for a special occasion and finding ways to bring it into the everyday spaces where life actually happens — the rooms you live in, the garden you step into each morning. I also study archetypes — the deep patterns found in nature and across cultures — and I draw on them when I design, because they give work a foundation that goes beyond current trends.
In the end, an event is only a threshold — a doorway into something much bigger, which is our life itself. The celebration matters, but what matters more is everything it opens onto.
Outside the studio
I am a mom of four girls, which keeps life full and grounded. My husband and I minister together in our church community, and I find that the care I put into design — the belief that every gathering deserves intention — shows up there too. When I am not designing, I am making flower compositions, working in the garden, holding design workshops, reading, sketching, journaling, or making models. These are not hobbies separate from my work — they are how I think.
My hope
My hope isn't only to meet new clients, but to make acquaintances for life — people I keep designing alongside as the years go on. Together we build these beautiful thresholds, and shape the spaces around us to reflect our characters and everything we have lived.
